I’ve been a work from home marketer for more than a decade and have to say there are few things I’d rather being doing today. Of course being a paid sport fishing guide would be right up my alley but that’s not likely to be happening, so I’ll just keep enjoying working from home and go fishing any time I’d like.

I’ll admit I didn’t get it right the first time I tried and it took me some time to admit I had taken a wrong path but I didn’t give up like a few of my friends have but they won’t admit they didn’t do anything I share with them. Instead they thought they could buy success and lost thousands.

Note that none of them tried doing a single thing the love to do. For me, I have sites in niches that include all my hobbies and most of my interests. Sadly two of my friends decided to go the porno route as they thought they would start making money over night. Well that didn’t happen and they just gave up.

Online marketing isn’t a get rich quick idea, although you can stand to make a great living, it just takes time getting the ball rolling and the money coming in steadily. Most newbie work at home marketers haven’t got the patience or desire to work hard to earn their income and quit after their first failure.

My advice is to take the time required to find the right niche for you. This way you will not be lost for content after the first few articles you write.

My first mistake was not doing any research, at all. I knew what I wanted and went for it, Even a little research would have shown me I didn’t stand a chance in the niche I chose. The competition was too fierce and it would take me years to compete with them.

So glad I was too stubborn to give up and quit.

Eventually I came to realize I needed to do some research and that was when I changed everything I was doing and started over. I kept the two domains I had purchased though and today I use them and make money with them, but I did a lot of learning before that happened, as they were make money online sites and I really had no idea how to make money online, as my bank account showed.
